Fans may have a hard time believing the truth but at one point in her life, the former wife of Blake Shelton found alcohol as her refuge.

Miranda Lambert recently opened up her heart to fans. According to FOX News, the "Vice" singer revealed that she once resorted to drinking after her divorce. Fans can remember the shocking news in July 2015, when Lambert and Shelton announced their split. It appears that until now, there are times she still needs some alcohol in her system.

After her shocking divorce with Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert found new romance with Anderson East. She has also been blessed with a lot of things as she won two big awards at this year's ACM Awards. Lambert bagged Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.

Anderson East couldn't be more proud of the accomplishments Miranda Lambert has attained over the past years since her split with Blake Shelton. According to U.S. Weekly, the country crooner aired his thoughts about Lambert's recent win. "Couldn't be more proud of this little lady," he said.

Miranda Lambert won Album of the Year for "The Weight of These Wings." The singer previously revealed that the album was inspired by the pain of losing her four-year marriage with the "Voice" coach. In her acceptance speech, Lambert thanked fans and the awards group for "sharing" her "heartbreak."

Shelton is now dating Gwen Stefani while Miranda Lambert and East have been going steady. It remains to be seen if the former King and Queen of country music will reunite for a duet.
