Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Reject Kourtney Kardashian As Possible Surrogate: Search Continues

Now that Kim Kardashian has discovered the hard way that she cannot bear any more children on her own, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star and her husband, Kanye West are looking for a surrogate who could do it instead. While Kourtney Kardashian was initially in the running to be the surrogate, both Kim and Kanye have moved on from the idea and focusing instead on coming up with the best alternative.

Anyone who religiously follows "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" would know that Kim Kardashian has explored all lengths when it comes to getting pregnant for the third time. Viewers even witnessed the wife of Kanye West undergoing a painful surgery on the uterus in KUWTK Season 13 only to discover some disappointing results.

The OBGYN confirmed that it would be too dangerous for Kim Kardashian to conceive another child of her own. Hence the only option left for the "Keeping With The Kardashians" star and Kanye West to have another child was to hire a surrogate, Los Angeles Times reports

While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had considered the option of surrogacy before, after the reality star suffered from the dangerous condition called preeclampsia during her first pregnancy, it is only recently that they have seriously begun weighing their options. While Kourtney Kardashian was among the people who could have served as a surrogate to the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, sources say that for some reason, that is not an option anymore.

"There haven't been any arguments so far, but quite a lot of discussion on the age and race of the possible surrogate for Kim [Kardashian] and Kanye [West] among so much else," said an insider, Celebrity Insider reports. "There has also been plenty of talk at stopping at two children. Everything is being discussed, and it looks like there will be some time before any final decisions are made."

Even though Kim Kardashian and Kanye West always wanted to have more kids, what has led them to rush into baby planning is the horrific Paris robbery experienced by the mother of 2, in 2016. Kim was tied down and robbed at gunpoint by five masked men in a Paris hotel, which made the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star realize how short and unpredictable life was and hence, to not waste any more time in expanding her family.
