Billie Lourd, born Billie Catherine Lourd, is joining the cast of "American Horror Story" Season 7 for an unidentified role. The actress first marked her TV debut in "Scream Queens."
Lourd joins regular casts Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson, who are returning for the installment in Ryan Murphy's FX series. Details about her role in "American Horror Story" Season 7 remain under wraps, but she is the latest addition to the show after comedian Billy Eichner, according to Deadline.
An appearance in "American Horror Story" Season 7 is not the first TV venture for Lourd. The young actress had her breakout role in "Scream Queens," which is another show from Murphy. She appeared in its first and second season as Channel #3. Aside from TV appearances, the "Scream Queens" star had a cameo appearance in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" as Lt. Connix and starred opposite her mother, the late Carrie Fisher, who portrayed General Leia Organa. Lourd is set to reprise her character in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
Details about Lourd's role and character name in "American Horror Story" Season 7 remain under wraps, and it is also unknown which episode in the series she will first appear. She has also yet to comment on her addition to the show because her recent Twitter and Instagram post is not about her appearance in the horror series.
Meanwhile, storyline details about the installment remain a mystery. Murphy remained mum on the premise of "American Horror Story" Season 7. According to Variety, the showrunner has been busy with his other FX shows including "Feud" and "American Crime Story," which tackles the murder of the late fashion designer Gianni Versace on its third season run.
"American Horror Story" Season 7 will reportedly involve the aftermath of the recent presidential election.
