The penultimate episode of "The Flash" Season 3 will reveal Savitar's identity. Speculations are rife that he is no other than older Barry Allen and Team Flash learns about this the hard way.
"The Flash" Season 3 Episode 19, titled "The Once and Future Flash," may already be a spoiler for Savitar's identity. It fuels the speculation that the God of Speed, who is revealed to be human, is a time traveler like Barry Allen. The title itself speaks of the possibility that Savitar is an aged version of Barry, according to Screenrant. This storyline fits with DC comics' Future Flash, who was later revealed to be an aggrieved Barry Allen.
Likewise, the villain has produced some cryptic statements in the past that hint to him being Barry Allen. Savitar has spoken about knowing everything that happens since he has already experienced them. In a previous episode of "The Flash" Season 3, he had uttered, "I am the Future, Flash," which could definitely refer to him being Barry.
However, fans need not wait long to find out Savitar's identity. The penultimate episode of "The Flash" Season 3 will finally reveal who he is. The CW has yet to release a title for the episode, but the synopsis revealed Team Flash is in for a shocking discovery when they realize who Savitar is.
According to the synopsis from TV Line, the May 16 episode brings Barry back to 2024 where he meets future versions of himself and his friends. He also learns who Savitar is. He returns to the present to find out how to defeat the villain with the help of a scientist. However, Team Flash must find a way to keep the scientist safe before Killer Frost gets to her.
Everyone in Team Flash now knows Savitar's identity in "The Flash" Season 3 Finale. In this May 23 episode, the team prepares for an epic battle with the villain. The episode ends with a cliffhanger since it leaves the team wondering how they can move forward after they suffer a major setback.
