Josh Duggar has been laying low since 2015 but failures of the past continue to haunt him. It appears that he may soon have to appear in court in a case related to his Ashley Madison account. What will the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle do now?
According to AOL News, Matthew McCarthy filed a lawsuit against Josh Duggar. As previously revealed, the reality star used different photos in his dating accounts. McCarthy said in his lawsuit that Josh's use of his images was damaging to his "personal and professional" reputation.
Among the sites Josh Duggar used for his extramarital affairs was Ashley Madison and OKCupid. It is unclear at this time if there will be others that will surface as the lawsuit progresses. Not much is known about the case at this time.
The Duggar family has yet to officially comment on the lawsuit that Matthew McCarthy filed in court. However, experts believe that Josh may soon be forced to make a list of all the women he saw during the time he was using the adultery websites.
It seems that Josh's wife, Anna Duggar, has put the past behind her. However, some fans are unforgiving of what happened and what was revealed in 2015. When news of Josh's infidelity broke, it was divulged that he had two profiles on Ashley Madison. He was also forced to admit that he was unfaithful to Anna.
The Stir notes that Josh Duggar spent some time in a faith-based treatment center. This was after he also admitted to molesting five young girls as a teen and being a porn addict. This time, Matthew McCarthy's lawsuit continues to haunt the family. The clan has reportedly tried to settle the case amicably but the disc jockey refused.
It remains to be seen how Josh Duggar will overcome the latest issue that has struck his family. Stay tuned for more Duggar family news and updates.
