Food & Wine Restaurants Of The Year 2017 Award Clinched By Two NYC Resto Olmsted & Le Coucou

Olmsted and Le Coucou were among the "Restaurants of the Year 2017" list, according to "Food & Wine". This list features the best new places to eat in the US. The two restaurants represented New York, which is the only state that got a double entry beside California.

"Food & Wine" is a known for its primary goal to tour the world for the exquisite tasting foods. Ten restaurants listed as the best restaurants of the year. This is the first list produced during the term of Jordana Rothman as a restaurant editor. This year, New York has two new representatives: Olmsted and Le Coucou. The latter was already named "Best New Restaurant" by James Beart Foundation, as reported by Grub Street.

First is the Olmsted, which is located in Brooklyn and is dubbed as The Vibey Retreat from the magazine. Characterized by its picturesque garden and Greg Baxtrom and Ian Rothman's cooking, Olmsted is fit to have a spot on the "Food & Wine" list. Its Olmsted's Beet Salad with Shiso is what has caught the taste of the judges.

The next on NYC rep for the best new places to eat is the Le Coucou. Dubbed as The Haute Awakening, Le Coucou offers french delicacies; the kitchen being headed by Chef Daniel Rose. Before making in the "Food & Wine" list, the restaurant has already won a similar spot in James Beard Foundation. Their food is a "bewitching double helix of Old and New World notions", according to Food & Wine.

Other restaurants that got a spot on the "Food & Wine" list are Here's Looking At You from LA, California, and June's All Day from Austin Texas. Roister is the representative from Chicago Illinois, followed by Pennsylvania's Rooster Soup Co. From San Francisca, LA is Tartine Manufactory, with Turkey and the Wolf from new Orleans, Louisiana. Tusk is from Portland Oregon and Waypoint is from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
