‘Designated Survivor’ Season 1 Finale Spoilers: What Happens In Episode 21 ‘Brace for Impact’

Lives are at stake when the "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Finale airs on May 17. Lozano is set to carry out the final attack and Agent Hannah Wells is leading the manhunt for Lozano in Episode 21, "Brace for Impact."

ABC has released the synopsis for the "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Finale, which promises a heart-stopping and nail-biting moment. "Brace for Impact" is telling of the episode's storyline, as the finale focuses on stopping Lozano from carrying out the final attack.

According to the synopsis from Spoilers Guide, in the "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Finale President Kirkman orders a nationwide manhunt for the people behind the attacks. Of course, this not only includes Lozano but there are two other people involved.

First, there is Jay Whitaker, Homeland Security Adviser, who turned out to be the White House mole. He has been deleting sensitive files and even created the reports for Lazano's supposed death. Then there is Patrick Lloyd, who has been supplying the weapons needed to blow up the Capitol and to carry out the final attack in the "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Finale. According to Entertainment Weekly, Lloyd wants nothing more than to see America burn to the ground, so a new government can take over.

While President Kirkman fulfills his duty to the country, he let his trusted people execute the manhunt. Agent Hannah Wells leads a team of armed men to fulfill the mission. A promo for the "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Finale shows Hannah vow to catch Lozano to make him pay for the lives they cost from the Capitol bombing.

At some point during the manhunt, Agent Wells meets up with Lozano. The promo for the "Designated Survivor" Season 1 Finale shows her face-off against the enemy. However, the question is, will they be able to stop the final attack? Likewise, will Mike and the FBI finally learn that Whitaker is the White House mole?
