The writers have since used movie titles in their show and according to Inverse, the episode could be a likely reference to the 1980s film "Romancing the Stone."
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2, "Rickmancing the Stone," could feature Rick and Morty on a quest to rescue his sister Summer. It could see the pair trek through some jungle in search for her using a treasure map. Their quest could also involve a precious gem and a girl, whom Morty develops a crush on.
