"Dragon Ball Super" manga revealed new transformation for Goku, which enables him to fight head to head with fused Zamasu. Vegeta's Saiyan pride might just be the end of Universe 7's teamwork. And there's a possibility that Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, will be officially canon.
Vegeta is always prideful and stubborn, as seen on "Dragon Ball Z" series. He is the Prince of Saiyan after all. But if there's one thing that inspires the Prince of all Saiyans to change, it would be his long time rivalry with Kakarot. The change in Vegeta in "Dragon Ball Super" is very obvious, but his competitiveness when it comes to him and Kakarot's rivalry never wavered. Vegeta again started training in the Hyperbolic Time Champer, and what is the best thing he'll do after training? Show it to Kakarot, of course. And his preview might be during the Tournament of Power, as reported by Blasting News. It might be before, during, or after the tournament, but it is expected that there will be an epic battle between the two Saiyans.
Goku also achieved a new transformation in "Dragon Ball Super" manga. The manga is still in the Future Trunks Saga and some scenes are different in the anime. In the manga, after being unfused, Vegeta and Goku is still fighting Fused Zamasu. The two saiyans were being beaten badly. Later events revealed that Trunks have the ability to heal, and healed Goku to the fullest while Vegeta buys them time. Goku, now fully recovered, transformed into Super Saiyan Blue. The Blue aura was absorbed by his body, indicating the mastery of Super Saiyan Blue state. Goku was able to fight head on against Fused Zamasu alone in this form, but his body is still not used into the massive power.
Events in the anime however focuses on Tournament of Power, where it is speculated that Toei is finally turning Broly as a canon character. Broly will be an official canon when Kale, the female Saiyan from Universe 6 will finally tap the Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, as reported by Comic Book. Fans has mixed opinions about this. it is also theorized that when Goku or Vegeta, or any other kind of "remembered" Broly when that happens, then it serves as a confirmation that Broly has indeed became an official canon in "Dragon Ball Super".
