Of all of Abby Lee Miller’s ALDC Elite Competition Team members, Maddie Ziegler and her sister Mackenzie were expected to have their former dance coach’s back every time. More so now that Miller is facing jail time. The sisters, however, seemed to have turned their backs on her and do not want to be dragged into anything related to “Dance Moms.”
The Lifetime show was where Maddie Ziegler and Mackenzie Ziegler started their careers. Resident dance teacher Abby Lee Miller have often seemed to favor the sisters over her other dancers. Unfortunately for Miller, the sisters may have already moved on and are happy to be just out of “Dance Moms” and far away as possible from their controversial mentor.
Many “Dance Moms” fans could not believe that Mackenzie Ziegler posted a photo she captioned as “Happy Girl” on the day Abby Lee Miller received her final sentencing. Before that, Mackenzie appeared to have put her stint at the dance reality show behind her for good. The 12-year-old singer-dancer was rumored to have blocked Abby Lee Miller on her social media accounts.
Apparently, Abby Lee Miller posted a throwback photo of her then Elite dancers. She tried to tag Mackenzie Ziegler along with Maddie Ziegler, Kendall Vertes and Nia Frazier. Miller could not tag the younger Ziegler and many are saying that it was because the YouTube star has blocked her in Instagram. To top it all off, neither Maddie Ziegler nor Mackenzie Ziegler has shown support to Abby Lee Miller after she was sentenced to 366 days in jail reports Mail Online.
Even if Mackenzie Ziegler is being seen as cutting all ties with Abby Lee Miller, it was actually Maddie Ziegler who first jumped ship. The obvious favorite of Miller during her “Dance Mom” stint admitted that she will never go back to the show again. Tension between them was rumored after the former snubbed her dance coach by not mentioning her once in her memoir “The Maddie Diaries” according to Teen Vogue.
Did Mackenzie Ziegler really take a job at the woman that she and Maddie Ziegler practically owe their careers to? Why does Maddie seem to be bent on erasing her “Dance Moms” past? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
