'Pretty Little Liars' Series Finale: Cast Bids Emotional Farewell; Is [SPOILER] Big Bad A.D.?

“Pretty Little Liars” will come to a close after seven seasons on June 27. Aside from being a sure-fire tearjerker, the series finale will also reveal the real identity of A.D. Members of the cast recently reminisced about filming the finale. One of them, Brendan Robinson, teased some hints leading to who this season’s Big Bad is.

The actor who plays Lucas in “Pretty Little Liars” said that the show’s writers have in fact been dropping clues about A.D. for a long time now. Brendan Robinson said that the villain isn’t who everyone might expect according to ET Online. He said that he himself was thrown off when he found out who A.D. was.

Brendan Robinson also confirmed that the “Pretty Little Liars” series finale will be using flashbacks to connect the dots between the clues and the big reveal about A.D. He played coy, however, when asked if Lucas is in fact A.D. or somehow connected to the villain. Brendan said that if Lucas was involved, it would be for a good reason and that it was only to protect Hanna (Ashley Benson).

Meanwhile, a line that was written for Hanna turned out to be the tearjerker in the filming of the series finale of “Pretty Little Liars” reported Glamour Magazine. Ashley Benson revealed that she and the other actresses playing the Liars started crying and could not even start the table read because they found the line too heavy. The line was, "I feel like this is the end of something."

In another interview, Troian Bellisario described their last table read as really emotional as it was held in the same room as they first read the “Pretty Little Liars” pilot. She also revealed that the finale brought back characters that fans might have already forgotten from past seasons. It turned out to be a massive table read where there were a lot of characters saying goodbye.

Trojan Bellisario laughingly recalls that because of crying a lot, Shay Mitchell and Ashley Benson showed up in the table read wearing sunglasses. Shay added that they were not able to take them off the whole day.
