Last month Tom Cruise got injured while performing a stunt in London for the movie "Mission: Impossible 6". During this stunt, Cruise jumped from a rooftop between two buildings and slammed into the wall. The stunt went wrong, and the actor ultimately broke his ankle.

This incident halted the production of the upcoming movie. After the incident, the production studio of the film, Paramount Pictures, stated about the delay in filming, according to People. It is quite obvious that the production of the movie will begin after Tom Cruise's full recovery. Notably, the movie is scheduled to open on July 27, 2018.

The statement from the Paramount Pictures even suggested that Tom Cruise thanked people for their support and concern. It is a well-known fact that many times Cruise performs his own stunts.
