Popular band Linkin Park will perform a tribute concert for the late singer Chester Bennington. The concert will take place in Los Angeles on Oct. 27, 2017.
Linkin Park for the first time will perform the tribute concert since the suicide of the popular singer Chester Bennington on July 20. According to Rolling Stone, five surviving members will perform together in the concert. This "one-night-only" concert will occur at the famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
According to ABC 7, band members stated in August about their plan regarding the public memorial for the late singer Bennington in Los Angeles. Interestingly the band Linkin Park released no further details about it at that time. Now, the said concert will raise money for the Music For Relief's One More Light Fund in memory of the popular singer Chester Bennington. The band has already released a video for the title track "One More Light".
Notably, "One More Light" is the popular title track of Linkin Park's latest album. Now the video released by Linkin Park focuses on the late singer Bennington is directed by Joe Hahn and Mark Fiore. It depicts both the onstage and backstage footage of Bennington. The video shows that Bennington is singing on stage and fans have surrounded him. On the other hand, it also depicts the singer's presence at the backstage with the bandmates.
The song "One More Light" came to the forefront when fans' strong connection was revealed after the death of Bennington. Co-vocalist of the Linkin Park band, Mike Shinoda, also opines significantly about this track. He says that the key intention of the song was to send love to them who already lost someone.
