Kim Kardashian's Paris on Oct. 3, 2016, has left a trauma and a lesson that the reality star will always remember for the rest of her life. At the morning of Oct. 3, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in her hotel room as she was attending the Paris Fashion Week. Almost $10 million worth of valuables were stolen as two masked robbers entered her hotel room as they tied and sealed her hands and mouth.
The terrifying incident shielded the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star to all social media updates and was not seen much in public for three months. This incident will also be the reason that Kim Kardashian will not be attending the Paris Fashion Week this year, Metro reports. Last January, police reports and Kardashian's statements were released by the French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, recounting all the horrible details, only hours after the incident.
Kendall Jenner will not be attending the said event this year, however, Kim Kardashian was able to grace the New York Fashion Week this year, wearing featured platinum tresses. Kim Kardashian's sister, Kourtney Jenner seems to be pushing through with some pre-Fashion Week sightseeing in Paris as she releases updates on her social media account, E! Online reports. The fashion mogul and wife of Kanye West has reached out to her rep that she will be busy with some other commitments, purposefully, as this was her second absence from the said fashion week from its Spring 2017 event last Feb.
The Paris heist from last year became an eye-opener for Kim Kardashian as she chooses the things that matter more to her now. Kim Kardashian was also able to manage her failing marriage after the Paris heist as she and husband Kanye West is now expecting their third child through a surrogate.
