Pharell Williams is known for his trend setting fashion styles. He's the man behind the clothing and lifestyles Billionaire Boys Club, a prominent Red Carpet killer, and has a host of designer friends to vouch for him. It is no wonder Rihanna tapped him to be a mentor for her U.S. reality show "Styled To Rock."
"Styled To Rock" is a competition show, executively produced by River Island fashion designer Rihanna. The show is slated to premiere on the STYLE Network, and will follow the same format as her UK show, in which 12 up and coming designers compete to create unique pieces for celebrity clients.
Salaam Coleman Smith, President, Style Media, spoke of Pharrell's addition to the cast saying,
"We are delighted to have Pharrell, who is a driving force in both the music industry and fashion world, serve as a mentor on 'Styled to Rock." Pharrell's unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna's vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends."
Pharell has been very busy lately, he is currently in the studio with Miley Cyrus, and has also appeared on "The Voice" as a mentor assistant for Team Usher.
"Styled To Rock," will premiere this year with 12 episodes.
