Montana Mania is in full effect. With just six days until French Montana's debut album Excuse My French drops, French is promoting like never before. The Moroccan born Bronx bred rapper just released a remix for '90's throwback "Freaks' featuring Nicki Minaj.
For the "Freaks Remix" French teamed up with Kingston, Jamaican star Movado, DJ Khaled, and his Maybach Music family Rick Ross and Wale. While French's original verse is still on the remix version, Rick Ross takes inspiration from Lil' Vicious and Movado as he spits with a Jamaican accent for a majority of his verse.
The Maybach Music boss projects his rude boy image through a series of reggae infused rhymes, as he continues to reinvent himself following the date rap lyrics controversy. Freaks is a great summer hit, as well as other singles French has already released of his May 21st debut album
French's upcoming solo album leaked all over the internet Tuesday. For his first studio album he keeps up with the trend that garnered him fame: consistent feature hits. Out of 18 tracks not including five bonus songs, French has a total of five solo songs. Nevertheless, having his album inundated with collaborations with artist such as Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Rick Ross, Max B, Birdman, Ne-Yo, Raekwon, and more will help bolster reviews.
