Johnny Depp Ex-Girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis: Model/Singer/Actress Making Comeback with New Movies and Album, 'Love Song' [MUSIC VIDEO]

While news of Johnny Depp dating actress Amber Heard has been circulating since the two were spotted at a surprise Rolling Stones concert in April, Depp's ex-girlfriend and mother of their two children Vanessa Paradis has just recently jumped back into the spotlight. Many people have forgotten about the promising actress, singer and model considering her career came second during her 14-relationship with Depp. So it is good to see the 40-year-old, multi-talented performer rebooting her career with a new album and some film roles lines up!

Released on May 13 this year, Paradis' latest album Love Songs is a double-album consisting of 20 tracks. During the 66^th annual Cannes Film Festival she was spotted rehearsing the album's title-track for "Le Grand Journal" television show. Though the song is mostly in her native language, French, the chorus is in English. Paradis sings: "Love, I don't know/Nothing about love, you know/Hold me till the day is done/All night long let's have some fun."

Her break-up with Johnny Depp definitely made Paradis realize how much she missed working. According to a source, "Vanessa started to feel like she'd sacrificed her career for his."

Luckily, she has gotten right back into her acting career as well!

Vanessa is currently set filming a new movie directed by John Turturro and stariing Live Schreiber, Woody Allen and Sofia Vergara. This impressive list of actors make up the cast of "Fading Gigolo," a comedy set in New York City. The French beauty portrays a widow in the film. Paradis' character is also Orthodox Jewish, so her long hair is hidden under a traditional wig.

Vanessa Paradis is also the spokesperson for Channel and recently hit the red carpet before her trip to Cannes.
