The boys of One Direction continue to seem like genuinely likeable fellows. First, there was the news that they planned to tour the US in a van styled after Scooby Doo's Mystery Machine. Now, they've started covering their boy band forbearers in concert. Their recent cover of the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way" even has the BSB seal of approval.
Check out their performance below:
Howie D of BSB tweeted his thanks:

Howie continued the enthusiasm in an interview with MTV News.
"I think they did a good job on it," Howie said. "One of the writers, that's written almost all their big stuff, Rami Yacoub, he worked with us in the early days with Max Martin and stuff like that, some of the biggest songs of ours. The sound that they've originated was definitely not too far from where it came, from the same Swedish camp. It's nice to see groups like that pay homage to us. We definitely paid homage to groups in the earlier days that we admired like Boyz II Men, Color Me Badd, Shai, New Edition. So it's cool. I think they did a great job. It seemed like it went over really well.
Of course, the Backstreet Boys have a new album coming out and will be going on a tour of their own later this year.
