Director Brian Singer has been keeping fans constantly updated with as much as he can in regards to the production of the anticipated super hero movie X-Men: Days of Future Past. Mostly, Singer has been posting pictures on his Twitter account (as well as Vine loops and videos) and today we got a first look at Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence in her full-body makeup for her portrayal of the shape-shifting mutant Mystique in the film.

The role of Mystique is revealing in more ways than one. In his tweet, Singer hints that Lawrence will be a playing a "vengeful" Mystique this time around. Plus the makeup for the character leaves very little to the imagination.

Rebecca Romijn first played mystique in the original X-Men trilogy and then Lawrence stepped into the role for the prequel X-Men: First Class. With this new installment incorporating the cast from the original films as well as the recent installment, it will be interesting to see who else joins the cast over the next few months.

Here is Brian Singer's post on Twitter that revealed the first look at Jennifer Lawrence in the Mystique makeup:

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be the sequel to First Class, but since it involves time-travel we get to see some familiar faces including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin and Ellen Page. We also see some returning cast members from First Class including Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult (who is Lawrences former boyfriend).

One of the biggest pieces of gossip coming from the set is the reunion between Lawrence and Hoult. The two first met on the set of X-Men: First Class, so many believe that they might rekindle their relationship. Jennifer and Nicholas broke up at the beginning of this year due to scheduling difficulties.
