The-Dream promised us new music from he and Beyoncé and now he is delivering on his word. With the Monday night leak of Beyoncé’s “Grown Woman,” his late night Leno performance of “Where Have You Been” with Kelly Rowland, and Tuesday’s release of “Turnt,” featuring 2 Chainz and Beyoncé The-Dream is in full takeover mode.

"Turnt" is sultry, hip, and provocative. Bey sings, "Talking 'bout you're gon' kill it/beat it up till I black out," followed by the line "People think I'm crazy, but I love you 'cause you're crazy too." The-Dream continues to bridge R&B with hip-hop as his emotional vocals, honest lyrics, and ability to accommodate any track with a catchy hook certifies radio play.

Will this album finally grant The-Dream the solo artist credit that he deserves? While he has won several awards for penning songs for other artists, Dream has never placed in the top charts for any of his own work. IV Play is finally set to hit stores on May 28. Dream is also working with Beyoncé on her upcoming album and he teamed up with Kelly Rowland for her latest single "Dirty Laundry."
