Cheer up, Little Monsters! Your ARTPOP mother Lady Gaga may be returning from hip surgery as soon as August 3 for a performance with Beyonce in Brooklyn.
According to The Sun, an email sent by concert listings website Songkick said that Bey and Gaga will hit the stage together at the Barclays Center in BK. This will be Lady Gaga's first official concert since she canceled her "Born This Way Ball" tour earlier this year after doctor's diagnosed her with a labral tear that required surgery.
After the surgery, Gaga was confined to a wheelchair but has been spotted out on the town a few times since. Last week, Gaga hopped on stage with jazz trumpeter Brian Newman during his concert in Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar. They performed the Gershwin tune "Someone To Watch Over Me."
'Thanks to the 1&only @ladygaga for coming out to @GPHhotel tonight an singing a song!!' Newman tweeted after the show.
The concert won't be the first time Gaga and Bey have crossed paths. The Sun claims the artists are "good friends" and worked together on 2010's "Telephone."
Additional rumored performers for the BK show include Kanye West and Queen B's hubby Jay-Z.
Lady Gaga recently debuted snippets of ARTPOP at a Versus Versace x J.W. Anderson launch party. Gaga served as music director for the event and (thanks to the wonders of Vine and a dedicated fan base) video of the new music can be heard below:
What do you think? Are you excited for Lady Gaga's return?
