Kendrick Lamar may be from Compton, but his music is international. The TDE rapper’s “B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe,” single from his first studio album, good kid, m.A.A.d city became a worldwide hit prompting Kendrick to make a new remixed version with UK songstress, Emeli Sande.
Following a hard hitting collaboration with Jay-Z for the first remixed version, Kendrick tapped the 23-year-old Scotland native with Zambian roots to add the feminine prospective to the song. Sande's soft spoken voice and Kendricks unique voice and projections make for the perfect duet style remix of one of Kendrick's best songs to date.
Kendrick has been on his remix tip lately. He and his TDE boys, up a remix to Rocko's "U.N.E.N.O" track. K.Dot, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and ScHoolboy Q, go in on the infamous record, as they offer up their version of several remixed versions.
Kendrick Lamar, appropriately leads the track, with "I just f*cked up the rap game and you aint even know it," and we are inclined to agree with him. He and his camp prove that they are a force to be reckoned with as the TDE "U.N.E.N.O" remix is arguably one of the best remixed versions of the song.
Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q are both part of the XXL 2013 Freshman Class, and if their mixtapes and XXL freestyles didn't confirm their status for you, then their verses on this remix is more than enough to convince you.
