Mayim Bialik Divorce Finalized: 'Big Bang Theory' Actress Officially Ends 9-Year Marriage with Michael Stone, Divide Real-Estate

Actress Mayim Bialik's divorce from Michael Stone has just been finalized after months of proceedings. The two have settled on splitting their shared real-estate and the former "Blossom" star has acquired their 1,400-square-foot, one-bedroom home in Studio City, California. Bialik and Stone have two sons, Miles and Fred, and have made sure to keep them as their first thoughts when going through this split.

Back in late January during Entertainment Weekly's Screen Actors Guild Awards pre-party, Bialik to Us Weekly about the divorce proceedings. "It's going okay," she said. "I mean, I have to say, I give both of us a lot of credit for putting our kids first. It's not easy, but we're doing okay, so thank God."

Bialik announced her decision to file for divorce in a post on the Jewish parenting Blog "Kveller, where she said that the process is "terribly sad, painful and incomprehensible for children."

"The main priority for us now is to make the transition to two loving homes as smooth and painless as possible," the former "Blossom" star wrote. "Our sons deserve parents committed to their growth and health and that's what we are focusing on. Our privacy has always been important and is even more so now, and we thank you in advance for respecting it as we negotiate this new terrain."

Mayim and Michael married back in 2003. They first met at University of California, Los Angeles as graduate students in calculus class. When they filed for divorce back in November of 2012, they cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the break up.
