"What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" is a great reality television show for fans of the Olympic swimmer's life outside of competition. Unfortunately for Lochte, we all got to see exactly what he would do when getting dumped over the phone by longtime British girlfriend Jaimee Hollier. After dating for 4 years, the long distance relationship was too hard for Hollier and fans of the new reality show got to see the whole break up take place on E!

Ryan and Jaimme have been dating each other for the last four years, but only got to see each other a few times each year. Most of their relationship was shared over the phone. Lochte resides in the United States whereas Hollier lives in the United Kingdom, which eventually led to the break up on Sunday's episode of "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" It seems like the long distance relationship had been too much for the Lochte's British girlfriend and she called it quits over the phone.

Apparently, Jaimee told Ryan that they would either need to take the relationship to the next level or just split up for good. After having a heartfelt Skype session, Ryan received a phone call from Jaimee while he was out to dinner with some friends. Seeing who was calling him, Lochte motioned for the E! cameras to go away and turned his microphone off.

Though he might have intended to keep this interaction secret, his reaction to the phone call said it all. Viewers learned of Jaimee's decision when Ryan hung up the phone, returned to the restaurant where his friends were and told them that he needed a beer because he had just been dumped.

This reality show is usually more on the lighthearted side of entertainment, so this sad event was very surprising to fans. Check out this clip of Ryan on the phone with Jaimee:
