Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Split: Wedding Off As Couple Break Up According To Reports

It's finally happed (according to Us Weekly anyway), Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split. After precariously hanging in the balance for so long, Miam's wedding is off. According to Us, multiple sources have confirmed the breakup.

"They are definitely over," an unnamed source said.  

This jibes with recent reports that Liam was desperate to dump Miley. However, the Hunger Games star refused to leave, fearing for Miley's mental state.

"They broke up before and Miley went insane," a source told Life & Style. "He felt so guilty, he went back to her and now he's concerned about what will happen if he leaves again."

"He wants to make sure Miley's in a good place before they announce a split," the source said. "He doesn't want her to go nuts and do anything stupid."

Of course, if the news of the couple sleeping in separate beds was accurate, then it was only a matter of time before this happened.

"[Miley] stays in the master bedroom and Liam stays in one of the guest rooms. Sometimes she'll even stay at her parents', which is across the street, with her sister or mom so she doesn't feel alone.

The two know it's over...but aren't ready to announce it."

Miley and Liam's relationship has been on shaky ground since the beginning of the year, being doubted by Miley's father, Hemsworth's family and even Miley collaborator Snoop Lion.

Neither Cyrus nor Hemsworth have confirmed a split. In fact, Miley has spent the last month or so vehemently defending her relationship with Liam.
