Oprah, 'Live With Kelly and Michael' [VIDEOS]: Winfrey Names Strahan and Ripa 'Reigning King and Queen' of Talk Show Television World

Oprah Winfrey was a special surprise guest on "Live with Kelly and Michael" this week (thanks to scheduled guest Tyler Perry) and she even crowned the talk show hosts as television royalty. Astonishing the hosts by just showing up, Winfrey blew the duo away when she said that they were "the reigning king and queen" of the talk show world.

Initially interviewing Tyler Perry about his current projects and life, the director gets in some references to his pal Oprah eventually leading to the iconic television personality coming onto the show!

Dumbfounded, the hosts have no idea what to do and Michael Strahan even comically offers himself to Winfrey as a table. She turns down the offer but does gives them a little treat.

"You guys are the reigning king and queen," the OWN network mogul announced. "You are. Congratulations. Because I'm in the biz and I have other shows on the air that I'm not on, I still get the numbers everyday and I see that you guys are at the top."

In the past (and still today), many hosts and personalities have been compared to the great Oprah Winfrey. For instance, when asked in 2011 about Anderson Cooper becoming the "Next Oprah" after getting his own talk show, Winfrey responded:

"No. Will he be the next Anderson Cooper? Yes. This whole idea... it was like me [being asked], 'Are you going to be the next Phil Donahue?' I created my own way. I'm a fan of [Cooper's]. Obviously, he's very talented. It would be interesting to see who does watch him, and what [he'll] do that's different. And I will be rooting for him. He will not, definitively, will not - what I know for sure - he will not be the next Oprah."
