Houston rapper Kirk Jerel Randle, better known by his stage name Kirko Bangz landed a coveted spot on the 2013 XXL Freshman Class, and he is opening up with his behind the scenes Vlog of his freestyle.

Kirko Bangz stepped on the scene in 2009, he released his first mixtape "Procrastination Kills" to receive recognition from his peers in Houston. He gained national attention with is hit "Drank In My Cup,' which peaked at peaked at #28 at the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Following the notoriety that came from his single, Kirko Bangz appeared on songs and freestyles with J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Tyga, Bow Wow, Chamillionaire, and singer Trey Songz.

Kirko Bangz is set to drop his debut album, Bigger Than Me, late this year or early 2014.
