Little Monsters are hardcore. An acrylic nail that Lady Gaga reportedly wore at a Dublin concert sold on the auction website Artfact for $12,000.

According to the description of the nail, a crew member at the Dublin show says he "noticed an object on the floor of the stage, which at first I thought was a guitar plectrum." The winning bidder not only received the nail (pictured above) but also a t-shirt, photos of Gaga performing with a nail missing, a handbook from the venue, a wristband and a photo of Gaga with the full set of nails.

In other Gaga news, Mother Monster is apparently hard at work on her ARTPOP album. She sent out a picture of herself in studio with producer Dallas Austin.

As to what ARTPOP will be, Gaga's manager spoke on it at AllThingsD's annual conference.

"One of the things that came out publicly was that we're working on an application right now, just because you can't interact with an MP3. It's very passive to get in your car, you turn on the radio and listen to a song. To actually engage with the music in an application, we feel that's kind of pushing it towards the future and will probably become the standard. Just allowing fans to engage with the content. Back in the day, you open up your album, you read the liner notes, you read the lyrics, you wanna know everything there is to know about that artist. To be able to turn the album into a living, breathing thing."

Gaga, who has been sidelined after a hip surgery (with the exception of one impromptu performance) is expected to return for a concert with Beyonce in Brooklyn in August.

Loyal fans can also catch Gaga in the trailer for Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills which was released last week.
