Taylor Swift's red album includes 19 tracks, and it includes what we have come to expect since the inception of the young artist's career, but with a brush of maturity.

The songs are about life, love, and the lack thereof as anyone would come to expect from a Taylor Swift album, but the songs are now growing in adulthood, as she does.

Her song, "State of Grace," is one that falls under the general Taylor Swift writing style. The song speaks to the broken heart in those who have fallen out of love, and the state of emotion they hold onto when suffering through that kind of heart ache. This song sounds much different than a high school break up song because it is about maintaining through heartache.

There are songs many people can relate to such as, "Come back... Be here," which is a song about a long distance relationship, and the difficulty faced with such a bond. This is a relatable song because there are many people who have dipped into the long distance relationship. Suzanne Phillips, licensed psychologist, told PBS when she thinks of long distance relationships, she thinks of the estimated 144,000 troops who are in Iraq or Afghanistan and the loved ones they left behind.

Taylor even has a reminiscent song of when she was just 17 years old. She might not be reminiscing very far back, but she is still reminiscing. This song is about her being taught to dream more than it is about the boy in the story. She is remembering a lesson she was taught when she was 17, not remembering a relationship per say, which is another sign of maturity.

Overall this album is very appealing. Once again Taylor is the main writer, and she does a marvelous job as always. The album is one that should rank high in her career, and do well overall.
