The set was closed for the rehearsals of the 2013 CMT awards, but Carrie Underwood Darius Rucker, Nelly, and Florida Georgia Line share their reactions to the rehearsals on CMT.com.
Carrie Underwood has something very special planned for her performance. She says she is going to dedicate her performance to her loved ones.
"I just wanted to do something special for my family and friends who are putting their lives back together." said Underwood in an interview with CMT reporter Katie Cook.
Nelly seemed very excited, and with a smile summed up his feelings into three words, "It was great!"
Nelly will be performing with the band Florida Georgia Line, the two have a song out called, "Cruise," which combines gritty contemporary country and smooth hip-hop.
Florida Georgia Line told Cook, "We were doing our thing, Nelly is a great guy and to be able to work with him has been a great experience for us."
Darius Rucker was also at the rehearsal, the only clue we were given by his interview is that he has three separate microphones, which means he has a surprise waiting for us on the stage tomorrow.
Darius Rucker told CMT reporter Cody Alan, "I got some really cool people that came out and play with me, people are going to be really happy and surprised."
