Kelly Rowland is not holding back, the "Dirty Laundry" singer is being more intimate and open with fans than ever a she continues to reveal more about the real Kelandria Rowland everyday. On a recent promo stop in Philly, Kelly opened up about the horrors of going through an abusive relationship and how Beyonce and Michelle helped her through it co-writing the Destiny's Child hit "Girls."
Kelly took the internet by storm with her hit song, "Dirty Laundry" co-written by The-Dream. The song documents Kelly's first time exposing jealousy towards Beyonce, and opening up about an abusive relationship. Kelly stopped by Philly's own HOT 107.9 Philly, she told the hosts why Destiny's Child wrote "Girls," from their last group effort, "Destiny Fulfilled."
"The girls wrote it for me...Destiny's Child is deeper than what people see on the surface," Kelly said. "Those are my homies for life. Golden girls! We stuck with each other, period!" When asked if she'd heard about her ex-fiance Roy Williams making a snide remark comment about the "Dirty Laundry" song, she threw a little shade and asked, "Who?"
Kelly also sat down with "OMG Insider" Kevin Fraizer, as she broke down when talking about her bond with her Destiny's Child sisters. The songstress also revealed the emotional toll that her past relationship had on her. She told Fraizer that a piece of her died every time her ex said something mean to her.
