Anna Christine, 'America's Got Talent' 2013 [VIDEO]: 10-Year-Old Singer Stuns Judges on Season 8 Premiere with 'House of the Rising Sun' Performance

Is this the next Susan Boyle? Plenty of people have been asking this question after Anna Christine performed on the season eight premiere of “America’s Got Talent” last night. Though nobody is comparing the two singers’ style, they just have the surprise factor in common. 10-year-old Anna Christine shows up in front of the judges as a small package of a girl, clearly a little nervous. But behind her piano and in front of the microphone, she transformed and blew the judges away.

The show’s judges Howard Stern, and Howie Mandel, along with new judges Heidi Klum and Mel B. pushed the young performer straight through to the next round without hesitation. Though it was only the first episode of the season, judge Mandel announced that they had found their superstar of the season already.

Hailing from Henderson, Nevada, Anna Christine explained to the show’s cameras before performing that this new experience is a bit overwhelming. She also stated that “anything could happen.” However, she also explained that her mother was her biggest support. “Like my piano she’s always been there and she always will be and I don’t have to worry about anything as long as I’m with her.”
