Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Florida Georgia Line came out as the big winners at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night

Underwood won the belt buckle (the traditional trophy for the CMTs) for Video of The Year with her single "Blown Away." It was the tenth time the country music star has won a buckle from the Nashville-based ceremony, making her the top prize taker in the show's 12-year history.

Although Underwood took the biggest prize, Lambert and up-and-comers Florida Georgia Line both won two buckles each.

Lambert took home a buckle for "Over You" (Performance of The Year) and "Mama's Broken Heart" (Female Video of The Year). Lambert's husband Blake Shelton, who co-wrote "Over You" and hosts on NBC's "The Voice," won Male Video of The Year for "Sure Be Cool If You Did." Shelton was unable to attend the event, so Lambert accepted the award in her husband's stead.

"Honey, I'm drinking for two tonight," Lambert told her husband via the stage camera. "I love you!"

Florida Georgia Line won Duo of The Year, and its "Cruise" was named Breakthrough Video of The Year. The group, consisting of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, released its debut album "Here's To The Good Times" in December 2012. Actress and show cohost Kristin Bell referred to "Cruise" as "the song of the summer."

Attendees were also treated to a few live performances that demonstrated country music's current trend of dabbling in other genres. Rocker Lenny Kravitz joined cohost Jason Aldean onstage to perform The Guess Who's "American Woman" on guitar, and Florida Georgia Line performed "Cruise" alongside rapper Nelly, who makes a guest appearance in the song's remix.

Underwood won the night's biggest award and also hosted its most touching moment: a performance of "See You Again" that she dedicated to victims of the recent tornados in her home state of Oklahoma.
