Carrie Underwood and her fans were really "Blown Away" as her hit song took the Video of the Year award this year at the 2013 CMT Awards.
Carrie Underwood rose to fame in 2005 after winning the fourth season of American Idol. Her booming voice and hauntingly beautiful personality shone during the awards as she addressed the crowd afterward.
"I don't deserve this," claimed Underwood. "the good Lord has been very good to me."
"Two Black Cadillacs," when it was released, gave Underwood her 17th number one hit since the stars inception onto the scene eight years ago. This song also drove Underwood to achieve her 8th number one as a songwriter, according to her official website.
Underwood's album Blown Away debuted at number one, which makes four in a row for the artist. According to Underwood's official website, she only one of two artists in the 47 year history of the chart to have her first four albums debut at number one. That is an incredible feat, even for the incredible talent we have come to expect from Carrie Underwood.
