CMT Awards 2013 [UPDATE]: Miranda Lambert Wins Female Video of the Year, Songstress and Hubby Blake Shelton Flaunt Pair of Husband/Wife Matching Belt Buckles (VIDEO)

Miranda Lambert took home a win in the 2013 CMT Awards for Female Video of the year, making the couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, both winners in their respective categories.

Lambert won for the song, "Mama's Broken Heart" which is about how a breakup is harder to cover up when you are the one going through it. This song has one of the most contemporary sounds of any new country song that is out there. Give it a listen right here:

"I just got a kiss from Lenny Kravitz. That was an award in itself," said Lambert while accepting her award according to CMT.com, "I had so much fun making this video with Trey Fanjoy. The only unfortunate part about the video was all the drinking was actually iced tea. That was bad, but anyway, thank you so much!"

Lambert also had to accept an award for her absent husband Blake Shelton, who couldn't make it to the award ceremony, but tweeted his excitement about it. She accepted the award saying, "Honey, looks like I'm drinkin' for two tonight!"

Lambert and Shelton now have shiny new belt buckles to take home with them to show off as trophies for their wins.

Lambert gained fame as a finalist in the hit TV show, Nashville Star. She finished in third place but was later signed by her record label, Epic Records. She was born in Longview, Texas and will be turning 30 years young in November.

Pre-meditated celebration from Lambert the day before the awards suggests the atmosphere in Nashville was packed with excitement. Lambert tweeted before the awards that it was time to party, little did she know she was partying for a reason!
