Tamar Braxton Baby: Sister of Toni and Star of 'Braxton Family Values' Gives Birth to Baby Boy with Vincent Herbert

Singer and reality television star Tamar Braxton has given birth to a baby boy. Braxton and husband Vincent Herbert did not release any details about the child's name, but Braxton was quick to get on Twitter, declaring "He's here!" It's the first child for the couple.

Braxton's sister Toni was just as excited, tweeting: "congratulations to my beautiful baby sister!!! I have a new nephew!!!!!! Hehe!!! I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!" (that's 17 exclamation marks and 8 o's in "so").

Tamar first rose to prominence singing backup for her sister Toni, before embarking on a solo career. Her third album "Love And War" is expected to release later this year, and features a single by the same name. Although somewhat overshadowed musically by the fame of her sister Toni musically, Tamar became a focal point on the reality show "Braxton Family Values," which debuted in 2011 on WE tv. Braxton and Herbert now have their own spinoff, "Tamar & Vince."

She met Herbert when he was managing for Toni, a role he later relinquished after the reality show aired. He now manages for Tamar, but he is most famous for discovering Lady Gaga and signing her to Interscope Records.

How the child will effect the shooting of "Braxton Family Values" and "Tamar and Vince" remains to be seen. The season three finale of "Braxton" aired last night as well (we presume Tamar missed it). The new season of "Tamar and Vince" is set to air in September, but there's no word on whether the new child will make appearances.

They should catch their breath first.
