The 2013 Governor's Ball in New York City is taking place this weekend with the final day going on today at Randall's Island. There are a variety of big name acts that performed this weekend. Guns N' Roses, Kendrick Lamar, and Kings of Leon were just some of the artists that performed Saturday. Among the performers on Sunday includes Kanye West, The Avett Brothers, and The Lumineers. However, it was Tropical Storm Andrea that made headlines on Friday as rains kept a large portion of the crowd from showing up.
Among Friday's acts that got rained on were Feist and Of Monsters and Men. It sounds like Saturday made up for the wash out on Friday. Kings of Leon made up for their performance being rained out on Friday and played Saturday, while Guns N' Roses put on a 90-minute performance according to Fuse. Headlining the close of the music festival Sunday evening will be Kanye West and The Avett Brothers. Luckily after bad weather on Friday, Saturday turned into a pretty nice day and Sunday looks to be a beautiful day for fans.
Also, according to Rap-Up.com, rapper Azealia Banks put on a glowing performance in a neon jumpsuit.
