Charges are being filed against Live Nation Canada as the culmination of a yearlong investigation into a stage collapse at a Radiohead gig. The collapse occurred hours before a Radiohead concert in Toronto last June and lead to the death of 33-year-old drum technician Scott Johnson.

Live Nation Canada has been hit with eight counts by the Ministry of Labor under Canada's Occupational Health and Safety Act. Optex Staging was hit with four counts. An engineer has also been charged with a single count.

According to The Star, the Ministry claims that Live Nation Canada "failed to ensure the structure was designed and constructed to support or resist all likely loads and forces, it was adequately braced, there were no excessive loads and every employer complied with the act."

Live Nation still believe that the did nothing wrong.

"We absolutely maintain that Live Nation and our employees did everything possible to ensure the safety of anyone who was on or near the stage involved in the tragic incident that led to the unfortunate death of Mr. Scott Johnson," a  statement published by The Hollywood Reporter said.

According to Rolling Stone, a trial is expected to begin on June 27.
