The Top 5 contestants on Season 4 of NBC's "The Voice" will sing for a spot in next week's finals during Monday night's two-hour broadcast.
The five remaining acts are:
Michelle Chamuel (Team Usher)
Sasha Allen (Team Shakira)
Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake Shelton)
Amber Carrington (Team Adam Levine)
The Swon Brothers (Team Blake Shelton)
The Swon Brothers and Holly Tucker, also from Team Blake, were the two acts in danger of elimination last week and the fans ultimately voted off Tucker. Shelton had three of the Top 6 last week and still dominates the competition as the only judge with more than one act left.
But that could soon change as The Swon Brothers did not seem to impress the voting public last week. Their renditions of Merle Haggard's "Okie From Muskogee" and Darius Rucker's "Wagon Wheel" (originally sung by Old Crow Medicine Show) did not overwhelm and America responded as such.
Michelle Chamuel, meanwhile, has been building her case as a lock for the finals. She has yet to be in danger of elimination since the live playoffs began with the Top 16 several weeks ago.
Furthermore, her performances have been consistently great week after week, including last week's renditions of Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" and Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble."
Michelle also became just the second contestant in Season 4 to earn the 10x vote multiplier from iTunes, as her performance of Swift's radio hit reached the iTunes Top 10 and thus entitled her to the bonus votes.
Danielle Bradbery also earned the bonus during Top 10 week with her performance of Jo Dee Messina's "Heads Carolina, Tails California."
