Carrie Underwood, among other country stars, were fighting off thunderstorms during a concert. It is for that reason that the artists were asked to keep their sets shorter. Nobody in the crowd understood that, however, so most seemed to assume Jake Owen only played one song so Carrie Underwood could play longer. Even worse, it seemed most people even thought Underwood ordered Owen off the stage, and by twitter conversation, we can disprove that accusation.
Why do people just make up stuff sometimes? Does it make them feel better? Mama taught me that's called a lie...I also call it a bummer...

Why do people make things up sometimes? Well in this case, it was more speculation which turned into a full on accusation fest 2013. Underwood's upbringing kept a pep in her step, however. Soon after tweeting what she seems to say that liars will get what's coming to them. Underwood, before any of the accusations got to her, relayed an apology for not being able to play longer.
Sorry they wouldn't let us stay longer at LP Field tonight. At least we all got to play a little...I still had fun! Great crowd! — Carrie Underwood (@carrieunderwood) June 10, 2013
Jake Owen, seeing the accusations, decided to clear things up with his own fans by clearing Underwood's name soon after. Everything seemed to be just one big misunderstanding, and now country music fans can live happily ever after... for now!
On a side note... It wasn't @carrieunderwood fault I only played one song. She rocks. ❤ Her.We all did what we were supposed to.
