The Rolling Stones were joined onstage at their Sunday night show in Montreal by Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler, as the band promised last week via Twitter.
As alluded to in another Mstarz.com article, Butler and his band had performed alongside Stones vocalist when he hosted Saturday Night Live in 2012, where the combination performed Jagger's hit "The Last Time." The song which Butler would join the Stones for at the Bell Centre was unannounced ahead of time, but turned out to be "The Last Time." Butler sang along with Jagger and didn't contribute guitar (as previous Stones guest Dave Grohl did in Anaheim). Those familiar with the two vocalists' styles won't be surprised that Jagger's voice is the more audible of the two.

The show in Montreal didn't count toward the numbers Billboard compiles when it ranks the highest-earning tours of the week, but the Rolling Stones still managed to dominate. The band played three concerts at Chicago's United Center as part of their "50 & Counting" tour, bringing in more than $16.5 million dollars. For perspective, only two other artists were able to bring in even 25 percent of the Stones' haul: Kenny Chesney and Taylor Swift (and Swift played four shows).
The band has a few days off before playing its next show, heading to Boston for a gig on Wednesday. The band hasn't given any names for possible guests at the show at the TD Garden, but fans have gotten used to guest appearances at this point. Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Tom Waits and others have jumped onstage at points throughout the tour. So far the band has denied that they've asked Adele to join them when they return to London, but she hasn't said "no" either.
