You've been waiting. And now it's here. Some actual new music from Lady Gaga's long-awaited new album ARTPOP. If this snippet of "I Feel It" will abandon the EDM-inspired pop of Mother Monster's last two albums for straight-up house music.
Give it a listen:
Add this snippet to the precious little we know about ARTPOP. What we do know is that Gaga -who has been recovering from hip surgery and is expected to return to the stage at Beyonce's Brooklyn gig in August- is working with producer Dallas Austin.
We also have this description from Gaga's manager at the AllThingsD conference:
"One of the things that came out publicly was that we're working on an application right now, just because you can't interact with an MP3. It's very passive to get in your car, you turn on the radio and listen to a song. To actually engage with the music in an application, we feel that's kind of pushing it towards the future and will probably become the standard. Just allowing fans to engage with the content. Back in the day, you open up your album, you read the liner notes, you read the lyrics, you wanna know everything there is to know about that artist. To be able to turn the album into a living, breathing thing."
What do you think of the snippet of "I Feel It" from Lady Gaga's ARTPOP? Are you excited for her return?
