Green Day has been around for a very long time. They have been rocking stages since their first album Dookie came out. Since then, through their music, you can see the band as they mature and grow. First they were singing about masturbation, now they sing of politicians. Yet, somehow this band has never lost momentum in their career. On the contrary in fact, they have only gotten more powerful as a group.

Recently, Green Day stayed in the studio for a while longer than they anticipated. The songs just kept pouring out of them and pretty soon the band had a three part album out on the shelves. Uno, Dos, and Tres, are this writers personal favorite albums from Greenday. (I am sure most of ya'll have a different opinion :D)

Right now Green Day is gearing up for a broadway show in Las Vegas on the tour of American Idiot. They will be there for a few days before moving on.

Here is what USA Today says about the show:

"Based on the rock opera album of the same name, the Tony Award-winning show follows three friends in their efforts to break out of suburban ennui and define themselves in a post 9/11 existence.

You may have listened to the American Idiot album a thousand times, but when you hear songs like 21 Guns and Wake Me Up When September Ends within this emotional storyline and through the voices of this dynamic cast, it's like hearing each song for the first time. Located just north of the Strip, the newly minted Smith Center is one of the premier places for Broadway shows in Vegas right now. $24-$190."
