Jay-Z and Kanye West may have been on the throne in 2011, but two of the most successful rappers in the game may be preparing for you to "Watch The Throne II." WTT producer Mike Dean revealed, that Hov and Kanye have been in talks, however he will not divulge any spoilers on weather the rap duo are ready to release another joint effort.
"Yeah, eventually," WTT producer Mike Dean HuffPost Live on Monday. "[They're] not working on it yet, it's just talking about it. I actually talked to Jay about it last week."
"Watch The Throne," dropped in 2011 and Jay-Z was open about the possibility of a follow up album. "You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we're really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone," Hov told MTV News back in December 2011.
However it is now the summer of 2013 and Kanye is preparing for the June 18th release of his sixth studio album, "Yeezus." Jay-Z is currently said to be working on his 12th solo album as well, MTV News reported. He's recently been photographed in the studio with Drake, Raekwon and in one star-studded picture appeared alongside Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Nas.
Hov has not released a solo project since "The Blueprint III" in 2009. Since the Brooklyn native changed the game up with his debut album "Reasonable Doubt" in 1996 Jay-Z has never took this long of a haitus between albums. Maybe the Grammy Award winning rap mogul is cooking up something special?
