IT'S NOT TRUE. Repeat - Adam Sandler is NOT dead. The 46-year-old actor has simply fallen victim to the infamous online celebrity death hoax (again). "RIP Adam Sandler" is currently trending on Twitter and other popular social networking sites including Facebook... several fans actually believe that the comedic legend has passed away. He hasn't.

"Actor Adam Sandler is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today - June 12, 2012. (Obviously the website generates false up-to-the-date deaths).

The actor & novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Adam Sandler lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed.

Adam Sandler was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash. The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death."

This is a FAKE obit... Sandler is still alive and well. In fact, he's "died" at least five times by now:
