Niall Horan, Zoe Whelan Dating Rumors 2013 [PHOTO]: One Direction's Irish Heartthrob Cools Hot Relationship With Young Model, Ends Romance?

Ever since he took her as his date to his brother's wedding back in March, One Direction band member Niall Horan has faced speculation about whether he is dating model Zoe Whelan or not. This of course is not the only attractive young lady that the 19-year-old Irish heartthrob has been linked to ether. Since rising to fame, people have attached Niall to the likes of Amy Green, Laura Whitmore, Louise Thompson and Demi Lovato, to name a few. But Niall reportedly put an end to any and all rumors about his relationship with Whelan.

After their wedding date in March, Whelan and Horan have denied a romantic relationship time and time again. Unfortunately, sources claimed that the two were dating despite their denials.

"Niall has been secretly seeing Zoe for a couple of months after he met her backstage," one source told The Sun.

"She's a Dubliner but is based in London to work on her modeling career. Zoe's traveled all over the UK to meet up with Niall on the band's tour. But the biggest sign he's really serious about her is that he introduced her to his whole family at his brother's wedding. Zoe's the first girlfriend Niall has brought back to his hometown of Mullingar since making it big, so it was a big deal and the talk of his family at the wedding. Niall's protective of her as she's shy, but his family all really took a shine to Zoe."

In a recent Twitter post, Whelan addressed these rumors a bit:

So even if these rumors were true, it looks like there was a strain on the relationship in general and the two have been taking steps back.

"Niall and Zoe met up while he was at home just to talk about things," another source told The Sun.

According to this source, the two were in fact in a relationship and a recent headlines back in May -involving a rumored night spent with "Made in Chelsea" star Louise Thompson- did not sit well with the young model.

"She told him she wasn't happy about the Louise headlines and they had to hammer things out between them. She is a young girl who likes Niall a lot but told him she won't be taken for a mug either. They both agreed that things are so busy with One Direction that they will just stay in contact and see what happens. Niall knows Zoe has been thrown into his world and wanted to chat to her about the stories in the papers. He knows she has been getting hassle online too and wants to look out for her."
