Although not a full-out feud, it appears that Rihanna isn't the best of friends with fellow pop songstress Beyonce. Early Thursday morning (June 13), RiRi posted a rather odd photo on Instagram before quickly deleting it. The snapshot featured a rather hefty man flaunting a skimpy pink Speedo on the beach... with Queen Bey's name emblazoned on the back of it. The "Diamonds" beauty wrote "Boys love..." along with the post. Major cyber diss, or simply an amusing observation?
Here's the pic RiRi posted on Instagram before quickly deleting it:
Rihanna wrote "boys love..." along with the image (probably referencing Drake's new hit, "Girls Love Beyonce").
Hmm... wonder what RiRi's trying to get at here? Maybe she's not happy that her ex wrote a song about the "Mrs. Carter Show" queen.
This isn't the first time the Barbadian beauty's thrown a jab at Queen Bey. As Mstars previously reported:
Pop songstress Rihanna is known to openly express her mind and opinion... especially on the popular social networking website, Instagram. Recently, the "Diamonds" beauty "liked" a post quoting Garbage's lead singer, Shirley Manson. The message claims that several celebrities are so "money, fame, and power" hungry, that they expect everyone else to simply BOW DOWN to them. Hmm, was this an (un)intentional diss aimed at the Queen of the Game, Beyonce?
Here's Manson's full quote:
"A lot of celebrities just want money, fame, power, fancy cars, houses all over the world and have people BOW DOWN to them. To me, that's frightful behaviour."
And here's "photographic" evidence of RiRi's "liking" the post,as reported by MediaTakeOut.
Back in March, Rihanna tweeted this:
@rihanna: "I only know how to be number 1!! I could use a challenge... 'How dat feel down there on ya knees, Huh?!... It's only March people... #2013isalreadyowned #staytuned #MoneyOvaB*tchez."
So RiRi likes some "friendly" competition... that doesn't mean she's totally dissing Beyonce. Perhaps she simply likes the Shirley Manson quote, and it has nothing specifically to do with the mentioning of "bow down." Still... what do fans think?
As always, Beyonce has yet to fire any harsh words back.
