The naked body of pop star Rihanna is apparently too much for some Dublin, Ireland, residents - as evident in some recent censorship. When some billboards featuring a little too much of the "Stay" singer's sexy body (only covered by an arm and some carefully placed text) were posted in Dublin, residents took it upon themselves to cover up the image that have been considered pornographic by the community.
Though the billboards were censored, the intended message is still visible. These sexy advertisements were put up to help promote her "Diamonds World Tour" dates in the area. So even though some of the pictures is covered, it probably does not hurt Rihanna's sales that much.
After going through the Twitter photos of the Dublin censorship, one could possibly argue that the community might have also felt that Rihanna looked cold! After all, the censors covered up the singer's exposed chest with some tasteful fabrics, making it look like she is just wearing a blouse or some sort of top.
Take a look at some of the censored billboards (including the cover photo) that were thankfully posted to Twitter for our viewing pleasure:
And here is the original billboard without any additions from the Dubliners:
This is not the first time that Rihanna (and her breasts) have stirred up some controversy in Ireland. Back in 2001, while shooting a music video for the song "We Found Love" on his land, she decided to take off her bikini top. Local farmer Alan Graham, who had allowed the music video to be shot on his property, halted production when she did this.
"I felt it was inappropriate," the farmer from explained at the time. "I requested them to stop and they did."
