Britney Spears' long awaited single from the upcoming Smurfs 2 movie has a release date: this Monday, June 17.

The "Oops I Did It Again" singer made the announcement last night via her official Twitter. Spears will debut the track Monday morning during On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

The family-friendly track was initially leaked last May, but a quick clean up of the web has made the official version a highly sought after item. Early reviews of the leaked track say that "Ooh La La" brings a simpler, poppier Britney, likened to the beginning of her career.

A video is allegedly going to follow the radio release of the song. Shortly after teasing the track's official release, Britney teased the video, tweeting "My boys' dream is about to come true! Wait until ya'll see the #OohLaLaVideo Nobody loves The Smurfs more than my boys.... :)"

The clip for "Ooh La La" has already had a preview circulating on the blogosphere. Spears herself gave a screenshot of the video's look last week (June 8). The video, directed by Marc Klasfeld, will be tied into the song and film's release.

Spears also hinted at the song's lyrics in the tweet with the words "So baby come with me and be my #OohLALA." The screen cap shows Spears looking the best she has in years, with perfectly applied makeup and blonde, wavy hair. Obviously, the singer is performing in front of a blue background, the signature Smurf color.

Spears is not the only pop star who has been tied to the Smurfs movie franchise. "Teenage Dream" singer Katy Perry portrayed Smurfette in 2011's The Smurfs and will reprise her role in the sequel.

Perhaps a duet is in order for the two pop megastars? Such a track would surely be Smurftastic!
