Although "Smash" was just canceled about a month ago, fans miss the cast and are desperate for any sort of reunion. Luckily for them Megan Hilty was recently cast in NBC's new show "Sean Saves the World," which stars her "Smash" costar Sean Hayes ("Will & Grace," The Three Stooges). Actress Lindsay Sloane, who played the character Liz in the new show's pilot, was recently dropped from the cast and now Hilty has stepped in.
Hayes was most recently seen on the final season of "Smash" opposite Hilty in a cameo role. The actor himself has a long line of impressive theater, film and television work under his belt so him getting his own series is great news. Plus he gets reunited with Hilty now!
The two took to Twitter to express they're excitement:
